White labeling
White labeling lets your organization hide Zyphe's name and logo from the people you verify, so they see your brand instead. It covers the verification flow, the emails your end users receive about it, and the KYC and KYB PDF reports.
White labeling has two parts, and both must be on for it to take effect:
- The White label product is enabled by Zyphe, like any other product, separately for sandbox and production. It is a paid add-on.
- The "Hide Zyphe branding" switch (in Settings → Themes) is turned on by your team in the dashboard, separately for sandbox and production.
If the product is turned off later, your end users see Zyphe's branding again, even if the switch is still on.
Your own team's experience does not change: the Zyphe dashboard, and emails sent to your administrators and reviewers, stay Zyphe-branded.
What your end users see
With white labeling on, Zyphe's brand is replaced by your organization's name and your theme's logo wherever an end user meets it.
| Where | Zyphe-branded (default) | White-labelled |
|---|---|---|
| Flow header | Your theme logo, or the Zyphe logo if the theme has none | Your theme logo, or your organization's name if the theme has none |
| Flow card footer | "Verified by Zyphe" | Removed |
| Email collection step | Text mentions verifying with Zyphe | "Verify your identity once to continue with <your organization>" |
| Hand-off QR code (desktop to phone) | Zyphe logo in the centre | Plain QR code |
| Email sender name | Zyphe | Your organization's name |
| Email subject | Ends with "| Zyphe Inc." | Ends with "| <your organization>" |
| Email header | Zyphe logo | Your theme logo, or your organization's name |
| Email footer | Zyphe Inc., address, socials, info@zyphe.com | Your organization's name only |
| KYC and KYB PDF reports | Zyphe name, verification engine labels, zyphe.com | Your organization's name and logo, neutral engine labels and notes |
Emails that are white-labelled
Emails sent to the people your flows verify carry your brand, in every supported language (English, German, Spanish, French, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Portuguese):
- Verification request invitations (KYC and KYB)
- Reminders to finish an incomplete verification, and re-verification reminders
- Director and UBO verification requests and reminders for KYB cases
- Manual review outcomes (approved, rejected, retry requested) and "pending review" notices
- Steps sent back to the person for correction
- Notices that a step was already completed or done out of order
- Custom messages sent from a KYB case
Emails tied to a flow use that flow's theme logo; KYB messages not tied to a flow use your default theme.
Which logo is used
The logo comes from the themes you already manage under Settings → Themes (see Theming). The light-mode logo is used first, then the dark-mode logo. PDF reports always use your default theme's logo and accept PNG, JPEG, GIF or SVG files; any other format prints your organization's name instead.
How to set it up
Setup takes a few minutes once Zyphe has enabled the White label product in the environment you are setting up.
- Ask Zyphe to enable the White label product. Contact your account manager and say which environments you need: sandbox, production or both. Until it is active in an environment, the branding switch does not appear there.
- Upload your logo. Go to Settings → Themes, open your default theme (and any theme used by a specific flow), and upload a light-mode logo. A dark-mode logo is optional. Use PNG or SVG for the sharpest result in reports.
- Check your organization name. Your organization's name is used as the email sender name, in subjects and footers, and wherever no logo is available. Make sure it reads the way you want end users to see it.
- Turn on "Hide Zyphe branding". On Settings → Themes, find the Zyphe branding card and switch it on. You need permission to edit the organization.
- Repeat in the other environment. The switch is stored separately for sandbox and production. Turn it on in sandbox to test, then in production when ready.
- Test the result. Open one of your flows and send yourself a verification request, then check the flow page, the email and a generated report.
Changes apply immediately to new flow visits, new emails and newly generated reports. Turning the switch off is always allowed, and Zyphe's branding returns at once.
Billing
While white labeling is in effect, each eligible check carries a white-label surcharge on top of the check's own charge, at the rate in your plan or agreement.
| Eligible check | Surcharged |
|---|---|
| Identity verification (document scan, liveness, or both together) | Yes, once per verification |
| AML screening | Yes |
| Proof of address | Yes |
| Wallet screening | Yes |
| All other products (KYB, forms, phone, TIN check, monitoring, etc.) | No |
- The surcharge appears on your usage and invoices as a separate White label line, per eligible check.
- It is charged only for checks run while both the product and the switch are on. Turning the switch off stops new surcharges immediately.
- A check and its surcharge are always recorded together: retries or duplicate deliveries never add a second surcharge.
Ask your account manager for your white-label rate. See also Billing.
Current limitations
A few touchpoints still use Zyphe's infrastructure or name today:
- Sending address. Emails show your organization as the sender name, but are sent from Zyphe's email address and domain. Custom sending domains are not yet available.
- Flow address. Verification flows are served from Zyphe's domain. Custom flow domains are not yet available.
- Support link. Emails end with "contact our support", which links to Zyphe's support address, so end users still reach a team that can help them.
- Reusable identity vault. Vault-related screens and the vault passphrase email remain Zyphe-branded, because the vault belongs to the end user across all organizations.
- Logo in older emails. The email logo is a secure link valid for 7 days. In emails older than that, the logo may no longer load; the message itself is unaffected.
FAQ
I don't see the Zyphe branding card in Settings → Themes. The card appears only once the White label product is active for your organization in the environment you are in. Contact your account manager.
My flow shows our name as text instead of our logo. The theme used by that flow has no logo. Upload one in Settings → Themes.
My report shows our name instead of our logo. Reports use the default theme's logo. Check that the default theme has a logo in PNG, JPEG, GIF or SVG format.
Do I need to turn it on for each flow? No. The switch applies to every flow in the environment. Set it once in sandbox and once in production.
What happens if the White label product is turned off? Zyphe's branding returns immediately on flows, emails and reports, and surcharges stop. Your switch setting is kept and applies again if the product is re-enabled.
Are reports I already downloaded changed? No. Branding applies to reports generated after the change.
